All about the Everest Cho La Pass Trek

Everest Chola Pass Trek is prefect for those who are seeking for adventurous, rough path and a pristine view at a same time. The journey takes you to the Cho La Pass broader which is 5420m from the sea level. After crossing Cho La pass, you will further move forward until you reached Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Camp. Not only this, you will climb high rocky mountain cliffs, Gokyo Ri, Chukking Ri and kalapatthar. From there you can see the pristine view of majestic 8000+ Himalayan Range i.e Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Lhotse-Sar and Makalu. Besides from the begining of your journey, you will walk through the most popular region of Everest Region such as Namchebazar, Tengboche, Khumbu Valley.

The rout of the Cho La Pass is very beautiful. The snow capped mountain and the Dudhkhosi rive boot your energy to walk further to the destination. Thrugh out you will be able to see the daily life of the isolated Sherpa of Everest Region who are knows as the elite mountaineers and have knowledge of all the cliffs and path of the region. You will observe different Monasteries, waterfalls and amazing landscape.

***Note:- The weather over the Everest Himalayan region is unsudden. Due to that, the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is sometimes delayed or even get cancelled for more than couple of days. This is rare condition and doesn’t happen during season time but we need to plan for this possibility. Please co-operate with us during that time.

During your trek, sometimes we have to stop in tea houses for a small break, which is not so much facilitated. They have shared washing rooms and toilet. Similarly, it is easier to get the single room at Kathmandu and lower elevation places. However, in high altitude accommodations are on twin sharing basis. However, Jatra Travels will arrange a single room along with attached bathroom as much as possible.

One thing, we will happily customize the trek package according to your size and preference. No matter what the group size is, one or over twelve, we happily run trek for them.
