Jiri to Everset Base Camp trek is the classical route to the Everest Base Camp. Back then, Edmund Hillary and Tenzin Sherpa used this route to climb the summit. Jiri is small village situated in the eastern region of Nepal. Jiri is also regarded as the Switzerland of Nepal. Nowadays, this route is popular for the porters and pack of animals. But still few trekkers choose this route to EBC than flight to Lukla to EBC.
