The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a popular and adventurous trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is considered one of the most beautiful and diverse treks in the world, as it passes through lush green forests, rice paddies, terraced fields, and traditional villages, and offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountain range.

The trek starts from Pokhara and takes you to the Annapurna Sanctuary, which is located at an altitude of 4,130 meters above sea level. The trek usually takes around 10-12 days, depending on your itinerary and pace.

The trek starts from Nayapul and passes through various villages like Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chhomrong, Dovan, Deurali, and finally reaches the Annapurna Base Camp. Along the way, you will witness the beauty of the Annapurna mountain range, including the Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

The trail to the Annapurna Base Camp is well marked and well-maintained. The trek is suitable for people of all ages, but it does require a certain level of fitness and stamina. The best time to go for the trek is from September to November and from March to May, as the weather is clear and the views are stunning.

During the trek, you will stay in teahouses or lodges, which offer basic accommodation and meals. You will get to taste traditional Nepali food like dal bhat (rice and lentil soup), momo (dumplings), and other local dishes.

Overall, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is an amazing experience that offers a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and cultural immersion.

Note for Trekkers: – if the trip is cancelled before the time span because of any Disasters like earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, floods etc. or Due to the reason of our guide and porter, the remaining cash will be refunded to you. But, if the trip is cancelled from your own side before the time span, the remaining cash will not be refunded back to you.

Note:-  During your trek, sometimes we have to stop in teahouses for a small break, which is not so much facilitated. They have shared washing rooms and toilet. Similarly, it is easier to get the single room at Kathmandu and lower elevation places. However, in high altitude accommodations are on twin Sharing basis. However, Jatra Travels will arrange a single room along with attached bathroom as much as possible.
