Tilicho Lake Trek

from $1050

The Tilicho Lake Trek is an extraordinary adventure to the world's highest glacial lake, perched at a breathtaking 4,949 meters in the heart of the Annapurna region. This stunning alpine lake, framed by snow-capped giants like Tilicho Peak (7,134m), is one of Nepal's most spectacular high-altitude destinations and a highlight of the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Most trekkers combine their visit to Tilicho Lake with the full Annapurna Circuit, often continuing across the challenging Thorong La Pass (5,416m) afterward. The 19-day journey immerses you in untouched Himalayan landscapes, from lush valleys and ancient villages to rugged moraines and towering peaks.

While the trek rewards you with unparalleled mountain vistas and a profound sense of achievement, it demands caution. The final ascent to the lake involves traversing steep, unstable slopes where rockfalls are frequent, adding an element of adventure to this already thrilling expedition.

For those seeking raw natural beauty and a true test of endurance, the Tilicho Lake Trek offers an unforgettable experience, one that reveals the untamed spirit of the Himalayas.
